A Few Pieces of Advice

Don`t drink and don`t play:
Let`s start with something which is not always so obvious. Never drink during a game unless you don`t mind losing. If you are in a real casino, do not accept any free alcohol. When you play on line, make sure that your six pack is left in the fridge.

Finish the game if you are ahead:
Set the aim of the winnings. Put away a nice sum of money of your winnings, and play with the rest, more or less aggressively depending on your character and intuition.

- Keep an eye on your bets.
- Always use the correct body language.
- Be polite to other players.
- Leave your camera at home.
- Do not trip between the tables.

Slots:
- Do not play on neighbouring slot machines. Casino Management puts a weak machine next to a strong one. So one gives, the other takes away.
- Be informed about the game pay before you sit by the slot machine.
- Play on progressive machines with higher numbers than latest payments.
- A slot machine closest to the door is the best one to play on.
- Do not play on small slot machines which can be found in various pubs and bars.

- Always play with the maximum number of the counters.

Mini-baccarat:
- A less costly version. You bet either banker`s cards or player`s cards- a simple decision, simple rules, and an alternative to a black jack.

Sport bets: - Be realistic. Do not bet your home town team, use your head not your heart. Analyse statistics before you bet.
- Baseball is the best sport game to bet.
- Look for trends but do not count on them.
- Look for better prices.
- A lack of a bet is "something certain". Always be informed about the chances of winning.

Black Jack:

- Split twos against banker`s four.

- Always pick up a card to a strong seventeen.
- Pick up a card when you have a weak eighteen ( an Ace as 11) against banker`s eleven.
- Double a bet if you have ten or eleven but not against banker`s Ace or ten.
- Never take an insurance.
- Never split fours, fives or tens.
- If you have Aces, split them.
- Do not pick up any card when you have twelve or more when a banker has less than seven.

Craps:
- Three top bets are: "pass line odds", "come odds", "6" or "8".
- Stick with one table.
- Do not bet "any seven".
- "Horn" bets should be avoided as well.
- It is a bad idea to bet " big six or eight".
- Do not bet "field".
- "Place" bets are a bad idea, except for bets on six or eight.
- "Odds" bets decrease casino`s predominance.
- Make bets with a low casino`s predominance equal 1.4%.
- Do not move your bets, make them.

Video Poker:
- Learn to read the pay charts and correct your strategies for each version.
- Aces are not the most important cards in the game.
- There are no hot or cold machines. All machines are the same.
- Do not lose everything in one round.
- Playing for progressive jackpot will not help you.
- Do not touch machines which pay less than 94.9%.
- Pick up your credits before leaving a machine.
- Always play with a maximum number of counters.
