Deuces Wild video poker strategy

In this version of video poker Deuces Wild, that is Wild Twos, a Two can replace any card just like

Jokers in Jokers Wild. It is worth noticing that, the lowest position in the Deuces Wild pay chart is taken by a Three, not a pair of courts like in Jacks or Better. This means that you will not be paid for a pair of courts or even two pairs.

Below there is a simplified strategy for Deuces Wild. Keep the card sets accordingly to the below order, throw all the other cards.

1.      Royal Flush

2.      four cards from Royal Flush (10©, Q©, K©, A©)

3.      Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flash, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two pair

4.      four cards from Straight Flush (7©, 8©, 9©, 10©)

5.      three cards from Royal Flush

6.      Two pair (4¨, 4ª)

7.      four cards from Flash*

8.      four cards from outer Straight (5§, 6¨, 7©, 8§)*

9.      three cards from Straight Flush

10.  four cards from outer Straight (4¨,5§, 7©, 8§)*

11.  two cards from Royal Flush

   *Outer Straight- these are four cards from Straight, you can complete it with two different cards, i.e.: 5-6-7-8 is an outer Straight, 4-5-7-8 is an inner Straight. Notice that A-2-3-4 and J-Q-K-A are inner Straights.

Answ: as you can see from the above strategy the player should keep Three of a Kind (2© A© A¨), which is No 5 on a chart strategy with one two.
