Is it really impossible to win with the casino? What about betting one counter on red and then double the bet in case of a loss, staking the same colour all the time. If red drops out the first time, we will win one counter. If it drops out in the second spin of the wheel, we lose one counter in the first game but win two in the second one. All in all, we win one counter. However, if we do not succeed in the second game as well, we bet four red counters. If we win again, we gain four counters minus three ones from the previous games- so we win one counter altogether.

The conclusion is simple- having endless amount of time (and money) sooner or later we will win.

Using this method in the game is profitable only seemingly.

All we need to do is notice how quickly the amount of stake money raises. We have to put on the table 1024 counters in the 11^th game if have bad luck and win nothing ten times in a row.

It may happen that the amount of money we want to bet goes over the limit of the game table. The limit is introduced so that someone having enormous amounts of money cannot keep on playing "endlessly".

The systems based on the rule of doubling or multiplying the bets are called Martingale systems.
