Stake systems
We often hear something about a new system which is supposed to secure a win in a casino, lotto, bingo etc. Sometimes those systems are sold on the internet for enormous amounts of money with a guarantee of success. But, do they really work?
The truth is, they do add an element of entertainment to the game; However, they can not change the casino`s predominance, which is a part of any casino game. Stake systems can be divided into two types: positive progression and negative progression. In positive progression a gambler plays high after a win. In negative progression a gambler plays high after a loss. Here we have some popular and interesting stake systems used in casinos. The easiest way to try out these systems is to play i.e. red/black in roulette, they can be used in any game really.
Parley System
In this system the player doubles the stake after the first win , and goes back to the basic stake after a loss. Let`s say, the stake is $1, you stake $2 after a win. If you win again, you stake $2 until you lose. Then go back to the basic stake of $1. The advantage of this system is that i.e. three wins in a row give you $5 profit, whereas three losses in a row make you only $3 short.
Martingale System
In this system, the player, not dependent on luck, wins at least one stake sooner or later - that`s the assumption. The player doubles the stake after each loss and goes back to the basic stake after a win. If the basic stake is $1, the player stakes $2 after a loss. If you lose again, you stake $4, $8, $14 etc. When, at last, you win a stake, your profit equals the basic stake ($1).
1-3-2-6 System
This is a type of parley system. If the basic stake is $1, you stake $3 after a win. If you win again, you stake $2 and then $6. You go back to $1 stake after $6, and you stake $1 until you lose again. You go back to $1 stake after each loss. If you lose the first stake, your loss equals $1. After the loss on the second level ($3) the loss equals $2. If you lose on the third level ($2) the profit equals $2. When you lose on the fourth level ($6) the loss is 0 (even Stevens). However, if you win the profit equals $12.
1-4-5 System
This is the system of stake progression , which ensures you with a high profit after three wins in a row. If the basic stake is $1, you stake $4 after a win. If you win again, you stake $5. Then, you go back to the basic stake ($1), until you lose a stake. After each loss you go back to $1 stake , as well. If you lose on the first level, your loss equals $1. The loss on the second level equals $3. If you manage to get to level three, the loss equals $0 (drow) when you lose. When you win, the profit equals $10.
Parole System
It is the opposite of Martingale System. You double your stake after each win. You have to set a limit, obviously i.e. 2,3 or 4 times.
D`Alembert System
In this system you play a bit higher after a loss, and play low after a win. For example, you choose 7, 9 or 11 numbers , you stake starting from a middle number, i.e. 1-2-3-(4)-5-6-7. The starting stake is $4, after a loss you stake $5, and after the next loss you stake $6, $7. In case of a win the stake is lowered to $6, after the next win you stake $5 etc. The gamblers using this system say , that it secures you with approximately higher winning stakes than losses. One of known types of this system are stakes 1-2-3-(4)-7-11-17.
Fibonacci System
Stakes grow higher accordingly to the sequence: 1-1-2-3-5-18-21-34…..You have to notice that, each number is the sum of two previous ones. Depending on your preference, this system can be used in positive or negative progression.
Martingale +1 System
In this system, after each loss you double your stake and add one basic stake (1 , 3, 7, 15, 31, 63, 127 etc.). After a win, just like in Martingale , you stake the basic stake ( three wins in a row : 1, 1, 1). This system guarantees the profit of one basic stake, with each spin of the roulette wheel or one deal of cards. Although, there could be more losses than winnings ( only till you run out of money to keep playing high).
