Texas Hold`em Strategy
There can be 10 players using one pack of cards in Hold`em. You play against other players, not against a casino. Your aim is to make possibly the highest five card set out of seven cards. Croupier`s counter-that is "dealer button" is used for marking a position in which cards are dealt by one of the players. After each game "dealer button" is moved to the next player on the left.
Before the start of the game, two players on the dealer`s left have to bet blind bets- obligatory starting bets. Second player`s bet is a double bet of the first one, i.e.- the first player bets $1 (small blind), the second player bets $2 (big blind).

The Pocket
Next, each player gets two cards- "pocket cards". These cards are not shown to other players.

Taking it into consideration you can make up your mind about the first bet round (bidding). The first player on the left of Big Blind starts bidding. You can:
| Fold |
A player puts away the card and gives in. |
| Call |
A player bets equally to the last bet on his right |
| Raise |
A player raises a bet |
Bidding is continued till the moment when all the players, who take part in the game, have the same bet in the pool. There is also a limit of the number of bet rising. There are three or four bet raises allowed within each bet round.
The Flop
After the first bidding round, three cards - called "The Flop"- are dealt in the middle of the table. These are communal cards, that is- these cards are the part of card set of each player.

The second bidding round starts. The first player who makes decisions is Small Blind. Because this time Small and Big Blind players are not obliged to bet, the player has two extra options to choose from: Check or Bet. The bidding starts from the player on the left of "the dealer".
| Check |
A player do not have to add another bet at this moment, but make sure that you have the right to bet |
|

A player makes a starting bet |
The Turn
The fourth communal card is dealt- "the turn". The next bidding round starts. The rules are the same as before.

The River
The fifth communal card is dealt- "the river". Then, the final bidding round starts. ( The bidding in river, flop or turn starts from the player on the left of the dealer).

The Showdown
Now, the players show the cards. A player with the highest five card set, out of seven cards (two pocket cards and five communal cards), win the pool. If there are two or more players with equally high cards, the pool is divided among these players.
Side Pot
If one of the players does not have enough money to make the next bet or when the guests play so called no limit poker, a player can join all in game- that is for all money. If afterwards another player raises a bet so called- so called side pot is created (separate pool), all in player can not win it.
Hold`em Bets Structure
To understand bets structure, we need to show you it using an example 10-20 Hold`em. In this game Small Blind is $5 and Big Blind is $10. Two first bet rounds (Pocket and Flop) start from $10 bet, two last bet rounds ( Turn and River) start from minimum $20 bet.
Types of Texas Hold`em
There are a few type Texas, these are the most popular ones :
- Limit- In this type of Texas a player can rise a bet only up to the previous player`s bet.
- Pot Limit- A player can maximally raise a bet to the amount of all the money in the pool.
- No Limit- A player can raise maximally a bet to the amount of all players money.
Rake
There is i.e. 5% commission (rake) of winnings in casinos games in which players play against other players, not against the casino.
